Hi, I'm Jaime.
I'm a storyteller. I shot my first wedding in 2008, and am a former member of the WPJA. I started shooting weddings BEFORE Instagram, which is kind of weird to think about. Hasn't there always been Instagram? When I stopped shooting weddings, I was booked every weekend almost a year in advance. But I've had several years off from doing weddings.
Why you may ask? Well, I got burned out. Like really, really, don't take my camera out of the box burned out. I'm a lawyer by day, and as my own kids got older they took more of my time. It all got to be a little too much.
But photography is one of the things I love most. I love capturing people's stories. Bonus if it's a love story. #hopelessromantic. Please don't judge me if I cry at your wedding. I love to get to know my brides and grooms. I'm proud to say that over 10 years after shooting their weddings, I'm still in touch with several of my brides. I love to watch their marriages and families blossom. It brings me joy.
Outside of photography, there's a good chance you'll find me reading, writing, traveling, planning my next trip, or at the theatre (watching always and performing if I get the chance).
SO, I will be opening my calendar for LIMITED weekend engagements for weddings, with more availability for portraits, etc.
